i tried to very carefully put the right seeds into the right cup with the right name on them
Check each before each was planted to make sure..however 2 cups of seeds now have extra seedlings sprouting
. Is there any explanation other than i messed up and planted the wrong seed in the wrong cup?They all ARe daylily seed too not some weed.

you didn't put more than one seed in each pot?
Seeds sometimes have twins or triplets. I grow plumeria seeds which are large. I have seen more than one seedling inside a single seed coat.
