May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!

John, we had more than enough food, we could of fed you and your friends!! LOL
Oops forgot Mr Kitty: He or She whatever was there also.
Actually John I was 9 people short this year, so yes...it would of been no problem. ^_^
Pixie, those photos of the grandkids are wonderful....Charlie's eyes are amazing! My Grant was riding his little bike in the drive yesterday...I told him NOT to go so high up, the top of the drive is steep....he obeyed until his Mom came, & while we were talking, went to the top of the drive, & when coming down, missed his Mom's car by an eyelash......we both yelled at him!
OH MY! He's def. all boy!!!!! Thank goodness he missed. ;)
I agree Celeste your grandkids are so good looking! Charlie is a real handsome little man!!
Isn't it funny what the kids will try and get away with when their parents are around. Our Luci is a hell devil with her mom and dad and an angel with us! LOL
Celeste, i have to echo what everyone has said about your beautiful grandkids. Wow! Charlie does have some expressive eyes!
I'm curious about your triple layer pumpkin pie? How do you do it? Sounds great!
We only ended up with four for dinner, so I cut things down a bit:
Shrimp cocktail with homemade sauce
Herb roasted turkey with apple walnut stuffing
Cranberry sauce
Sweet potato/pecan casserole
Mashed potatoes
Baby green peas & teeny onions
Waldorf salad
Dinner rolls with our wild concord grape jelly
Chocolate pecan pie
Pumpkin pie
It all jumped from the pan straight to my hips! LOL
Happy holiday season to you all!
Louise
Mmmmm....very nice menu, Louise!
Thanks, Marilyn! We ate it for days. :)
Total cuteness!
Adorable!
Love that first thanksgiving hat!
Lots of great new recipe ideas here. We had the usual main entree. For appetizers we had antipasto, spinach pies, bacala fritters, stuffed artichokes, scallops wrapped in bacon, coconut shrimp and crab stuffed mushrooms. My guests for 4 days included all of my 7 grandsons who come hungry and looking for some "special stuff". By the time they went home, I was fresh out of ideas!!
Lord....seven grandsons....your house must be cleaned out! Pixie, that photo would make a wonderful Christmas card!
Great pic Celeste
Sounds yummy Teri
OMG are they cute! I don't think I could let them go home, Celeste!
Teri - those appetizers sound like a real feast all by themselves! Seven!?!?! All at once? Whoa!
