My sister has an empty pot that needs full sun plants. I have some cannas and daylilies. I need other plants that would work with these.

What to put in sunny south facing front entry
I am not in your climate,but I think it needs a trailer of some kind.
Up here, I would use a wave petunia.

For winter interest try daffodils, ornamental kale, pansy, petunia.
I have trouble with full sun pots in summer and have been reading about improving my soil to hold more water for those scorching days.
