Lost a puppy recently due to a Nueter gone wrong and quickly rescued a new cutie 10 week old fox terrier mix. Her name is Sassy and my other Westie/Schnauzer is doing somewhat ok to the new princess in the house (confused but getting used to her). In anycase, we took the dehydrated, mal nutritioned pupply from a rescue to our Vet and he came into the exam and told us we hit the Jack Pot in intestinal parasites inside her little body. Well, she's gonna be Ok in about 10 days after the all the meds sink in and the Vet said to clean up her feces pretty much immediately and spray a mixture of 1 part bleach to 9 parts water and spray over the fecal area to kill the parasite left behind by the runny poops I am dealing with. The whole backyard is smelling pretty antiseptic. My question:
Is this enough to prevent further parasites? (along with her regular check-ups and shots?
Is ther anything better to use as a cleaning agent? (seems she is avoiding the bleached areas)
