plants to attract butterflies.

Orlando, FL(Zone 9b)

hello, im new to the forum and it seems like the perfect place to ask: which plants should i start with to begin attracting butterlies? my main goal is to attract them. maybe later i'll think of hosting. but i really would like to know the plants that would be necessary instead of just getting random plants that attract a lone skipper. thanks in advance!

I have had good luck in Texas with any type of lantana, blue porterweed, duranta erecta, west texas mistflower, pride of barbados, yellow and tropical milkweed, and we are in the same zone, so lots of these will work for you. Here are some site people have pointed out to me to get started.
