Van Engelen Sale Started!

Van Engelen has started their end of season sales. Everything is 25% off except amaryllis and paperwhites.

The sale is 25% now - doesn't it usually get to 40%? I'm trying to keep my budget under control big time so I think I will wait a little bit and see.

Last year they did 40% and started the sale very early, around the end of September. This year apparently sales have been better, with many things selling out, which probably explains the later start date and lower discount. I did place an order, but will be watching the availability list both for a deeper discount, and also because they generally add things later that haven't sold out at John Scheepers, the sister company. Last year several items that were sold out early became available again later, and were packaged in smaller amounts. So when I ordered 100 daffodils, rather than one large bag, there were 4 bags of 25, a good indication that it was originally Scheepers stock.

They have gone to 40% off and added a bunch of stuff that was previously sold out.
