When I was growing up beautiful massive brugs were commonplace around here, then somebody figured out how to make "Kool-aid" from them and a lot of teens died. The plants pretty much vanished. I've always wanted them but was afraid to plant something that could be so easily abused. Last spring a kind lady gave me a cutting from hers as I was admiring it from the sidewalk. I got 4 plants from it and have had numerous conversations with myself over whether or not to grow them. Last week I drove by her house and it was in full flush. I came home, got on this forum, mixed up a batch of the recipe and begged these little babies to forgive me as I lovingly gave them a long over due feeding. And yes they really are that stupid. I'm in the pill mill capital of the U.S. My thanks to all of you for the info I've gotten from this forum.
