This sparrow was in the yard this morning. It must be a Savannah's eh? I can't figure out the yellow breast though. The pics are horrible and don't do this bird justice. The breast, eye stripe and line off the base of the bill were very yellow through the binocs. It had some white on its back too. That grayish color along the primaries almost looked blueish. 4 pics...
Sparrow ID
One of the African canaries, escaped from a cage. Best fit perhaps Yellow Canary, but tricky to be sure as there are lots of avicultural hybrids. They are popular cagebirds.

Could it possibly be a first year Dickcissel? I am going back and forth between the Canary and Dickcissel, but in this bird I cannot see Canary. I hope you do not mind the questioning, Resin, but I am trying to learn how to identify better.
I'm thinking too yellow for Dickcissel, and too short-tailed. But the bill size does fit it better.

Edit: what size was it? Dickcissel is quite a bit larger than any of the canaries.

All but the first pic look ok for an immature Dickcissel...from my guide. Think the first pic may be a lighting issue causing more yellow or something.
