My DD came down to visit this weekend. She's about 3 1/2 hours away and I don't get to see them that often. One of the reasons she came down(besides visiting with mom)was to find a new dog. We found this little guy at the Humane Society yesterday. He gets to come to my house Monday afternoon after being neutered, and Crystal will come back on Tuesday to get him and take him to his new home. We got him all kinds of toys, chew bones, treats, harness and leash, and a carry bag.
I have never liked Chihuahuas all that much but this little guy takes the blue ribbon for cuteness. He's cuddly and good with the toddler. The folks there couldn't believe how gentle he was with her. It's going to be a great match! He had no name when he was at the HS and they believe he is about 2 years old.
Does anyone have more suggestions for what to get him to make his forever home more comfortable?
