What an interesting citrus. Is yours potted or inground? Does it require winter protection in your area? I read fruit is edible, have you made anything with it?

This tree is in a pot, and I have one in the ground also. They seem to behave the same. I have not protected it, but we don't get too much frost. The Buddha's hand gets frost bitten, but this one not. I put the fruit in salads, the little bubbles pop like caviar, and they don't turn the whole salad citrussy.
It is very refreshing, you can also put it on top of fish too cook with.
I love this little thorny fellow!

I'm gonna have to look for one. Of all the edibles we grow, citrus fruit is what I use most. thanks for sharing pics and comments.

I got mine from four winds growers. I am really happy with the nursery!

I have never even seen a seed in the fruits! I wonder if they need to be cross pollinated before they set seed.

Hi !

It is possible, that the commercial sorts have sterile polls, but you can use any citrus blossom to polinate them.
