Are these delicious, Christi? I have never seen them before.

Oh, very delicious! They are like caviar inside, little pops of citrus that are fantastic in salad, they don't permeate the whole salad, they just pop when you crunch down on them. I adore them!

how big is your tree and how long b4 it produced?

I have a little tree that is struggling a bit but it may be b/c of the cold right now. When looking at old vs new pics, it has grown quite a bit, so hopefully just a little weather beaten.

After seeing yours, I googled them and ordered some online. I have to say the ones I got are so bitter I did not enjoy them.

I must add for you citrus lovers that we are entering the very short period that Sumos are available. They are citrus gold. If you see them, BUY THEM!! I have been waiting since last year to get more. The absolute best orange out there. http://www.sumocitrus.com/sumo_story.aspx

I have been pleasantly surprised that it looks like the only citrus I've lost this year is a Mexican lime. I immediately went humting for sumps didn't find a seller. Maybe I'll go to whole foods, buy fruit and find seeds to grow. It appears it is almost seedless yet comes true to seed into find grow it.

If you grow them, put me on your list to share with!! Best oranges I ever had. I did read they are hard to grow.

Here are some stores that carry the fruit.
