fleas,lice?

I noticed what appeared to be a flea or maybe a louse on a feather of one of my birds which quickly disappeared into the fluff. What can be done to eradicate this obvious parasite?

You can use Adam's Flea & Tick spray. It comes in a blue & white spray bottle.. Walmart has it.. Be sure to get them wet under their wings and their vent.. Don't spray in face..

I use sevin dust under their wings.
