Very nice ! I have been noticing that LBG doesn't seem to pass on it's color in crosses.
gaseedgrower, I was going to ask if you had tried crossing it back to LBG, but jerodsmom seems to have answered my question on that score. How is its tolerance to heat and pests? What other outstanding features has it shown? Do you plan on doing any crosses with it?
jerodsmom, Does LBG not pass its color even when crossed back to its own seedling? Is there a yellow or orange double that might?
Thank you girls! I have her for couple years now and her blooms are same color. She is not much bothered with pests like others and she always comes in a flush. Also, her baby powder scent is not overwhelming and I like it that way.
I haven't tried crossing it back yet, but I have a Charleston x LBG seedling with a bud on it, I will try to cross it back to that. I think most of us are still waiting to be our first LBG crosses bloom.
