I have become very taken with this tree. I would like to have the variegated one but I'm having trouble finding one here for sale. Anyone have info on where I could get one of these?

If you dmail me your email kay or send me one to my email above I will send you the pictures he sent me. I found him googlin and they were talking about him in 2008 on Gardenweb and I looked it up. I am glad I did :)

I don't need one, Sandy - just like looking at new websites selling unique plants.
I understand but would send you the pictures as they are very pretty.
I am sure all of us would love to see the pictures - please post them here.
I will email him for permission as I don't hold the copy right to them. I don't see a problem but want to ask first. :)
Thanks!
Oh, that second one is beautiful!
Kay I am having a rough time between the 2nd one and 3rd one. If I understand right there is even more variegated ones.
We saw them in Lowe's this weekend on the half price rack. I wanted to get it, but D's SO said he couldn't understand why they had them, as they won't do well here. Too hot ...not enough dormancy period.
I have the regular green one in my yard and it does very well.
The several of the ones I read in the plant files says to -5 degrees.
Kay maybe it's that your cooler/colder longer than we are. I've never seen one growing here.
I guess you could email your local ag. agent and ask.
Broken Arrow Nursery is another grower in Connecticut, who has the trees on their website. The prices are on the site.

I like them too, wish my Lowes has them on sale...
I would love to find them at Lowe's half price. I was at my Lowe's a couple weeks ago and they didn't have any to mark half price :(
These seeds are cheap on ebay plants too
If I remember correctly, there are male and female gingko trees. Be careful...check it out...the flowers/fruit smells horrible.
Maybe there are sterile cultivars that don't produce flowers/fruit?? I know at one time they had both at VA Tech and they had to be removed.
