Lemon Grass as a houseplant ??
When I had my greenhouse I would overwinter large pots of Lemongrass for neighbors and for myself. There were no problems but the herb made little growth. A few years ago I closed my greenhouse because I could no longer affort to heat it and a friend took over the task using a bright window in his heated (60 degrees) garage. His results were rather the same as mine. In both cases, in mid May the pots were returned to their outdoor locations to make growth and to be used as needed.
I would not recomend using it as a houseplant, but the arrangement I described works well. Good luck.....
OK, kinda what I thought the answer might be: requires a lot of heat, humidity and sun and does not grow fast enough to be useful for the cooks in the house. Thanks.
