Cooking bacon in the oven

Hustisford, WI(Zone 5a)

Ever do this? I learned this method a couple of years ago from my 20 something sons. My nieces all knew this method too - where have I been? Wish I had discovered this 3 decades ago, it would have saved time & splashes.

I line a 9 x 13 pan with tin foil. Then I separate the bacon and lay it out in the pan - I use one pan per pound of bacon.

I cook it at 425* for 30+ minutes, watching it until it gets cooked to how I want it.(depends on what I am doing with it - crumbling it, freezing it, or whatever) I pull it out and flip the bacon around about part way through.

Clean up is a breeze, just roll up the tin foil and discard. ~Jan
