Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

I'm sooooo excited. My plumeria has bloomed with more to come. Can anyone id this one for me, I've never had an id as it was given to me. Dorothy

sweet! what is the fragrance like? it could be aztec gold but i do not know. it can be hard to id plumeria just from a pic. for now i'd just call it unknown yellow and enjoy it as such. : ) congrats!

Tucsonplumeriaz, it smells wonderful. Kinda like a bubble bath, sweet and relaxing. My husband says it smells like a necturine. I disagree with is description, but we all smell things differently. If I had to name it, I would name it Aztec Gold. Dorothy

Tucsonplumeriaz, I've look back at some threads and the color of this plumeria look like the one you showed in March called Aztec Gold. You also said it smelled liked peaches, peaches and necturines have similar smells, so my husband is right. Thanks for the id. Dorothy

i can not say for sure it is aztec gold. the petals look different to me. here are some blooms from my old aztec gold. there are lots of yellows out there. you just do not want to propagate it and pass it on as something it might not be. the plumeria world is filled with that unfortunately. :( glad to see though that you have blooms and are enjoying them even though nameless at this time.

Tucsonplumeriaz, you are right. But the blooms are so pretty and nice they truly do look like gold, although the picture you just posted are more yellow where mine have a cream tint toward the edges. Until I can get a more positve id, I'll just call this one, 'beautiful'. Dorothy
