String of Beads, String of Pearls
Senecio rowleyanus

I got this plant early spring. I want it to grow better than it is now, ANY advice will be greatly appreciated!

Hi. What does your string of pearls look like now? Did it ever take off?

So cute!

No they never took off vsimmons. Actually almost all the strings died. I had to repot and I mist them everyday. They seem to be doing a little better. I have a green thumb, but for some reason I can't keep these alive. What am I doing wrong?

@ Kell...thank you :)

I have found that they can never dry out, unlike some succuents. Keep them fairly moist. Having said that, my climate is mediterranean in my pocket of oz(dry summers, fairly wet winters and no frosts) I have 4 of these plants and the one that gets the most dappled shade and water is the gorgeous one of them all, but the others are still super cute. They are not fast growers, at least not here. But so worth growing!

Thank you so much Sollie68. The one I had finally died :( I want to get another, but after killing a few I'm nervous.

I bought a small one at Lowes and was pricey but it gradually died. Not sure I want to try again.
