Will Rabina Mt Ash grow in Zone 9a Houston area?

I was thinking of planting a "Rabina" Mt Ash, here in SW Houston area. It is Zone 9a. The tree would be in Full Hot Texas Sun.
I've see it listed as zone 3 to 9, but I'm wondering if it can handle Our kind of zone 9.
