ID Please

Prosper, TX(Zone 8a)

I got this from east tx growing in a ditch of sandy loam. The leaves are not spiny or prickly at all but it has a very spindly growth habit and is about 1.5' tall. It flowered twice in late Spring to early Summer and has just continued to grow since blooming. It looks like a poppy to me but I cannot find any others that look like this.

I am pretty sure is a Primrose, Oenothera, but not sure of the species, this one looks close;
