Talked to a birder who said he had seen and photographed a clay-colored sparrow at Sheldon Lake and told me where. I went to the spot and this sparrow popped up. Usually, we don't see clay-colored here, but this year, probably b/c of the drought, they've been seen in at least 3 other parks that I know of. I can't tell if I found him or if it's some other kind of sparrow. What do you think?
CLOSED: What sparrow?
Look's good for Clay-colored but I would get more confirmation. On small bird's that are amongst a lot of brush which can draw focus away from the bird
I switch to spot metering so I can get more focus on the bird. Just trying to help if I can.
I'd agree with Clay-colored
Resin
Had a third party ID it as clay-colored too. Thank you both!
