I am guessing this is Philodendron 'Showboat', but, thought I would check with folks that know more about it than I do.

Here is another that needs a name.
I didn't find anything in Plant Piles that looks like it.
I am guessing hybrid.
I have never seen another around town that looks like it. None of the good nursery people in town know it.
I am willing to bet that someone brought it back from the Miami area to Tampa.

Another shot of the unknown plant.
The first looks like Philodendron 'Xanadu'.
The second looks like Philodendron bipinnatifidum (previously selloum), Tree Philodendron.
I agree with Philodendron xanadu for the first plant, but have to disagree with the ID on the second one. In fact, that one looks unique enough that I'd like a piece of it! I have a number of hybrids that look similar to it; the hybrids have P. bipinnatifidum in their genetic history but have several other species genes mixed in.

That makes sense. I thought it just may have been some variability in the P. bipinnatifidum. It does look different to the two types I have. One has frilly edges, the others have deeper indentations in the leaves.
Looks like Philodendron evansii to me!
I saw this bed in front of Walgreens.
I am sure it was done by a large firm that uses unskilled labor for the most part.
These Philodendron are in too much sun, but, it does show the difference between Zanadu and Showboat.
They look identical. The only difference is the size they achieve when mature. In a few years the bed shown below will be all over the sidewalk and into the parking spaces.
The plant in the foreground is Showboat, like Zanadu it is a sterile hybrid.

Placing Morphogenesis aside; Take the two different plants and look at side by side. Are you positive Dale! Those leaves look nothing alike.I I have been wrong before and will be again!
Are we talking about the "unknown" Plant needing an ID! I do believe that is a P. Evansii. I also believe you are correct with the name P. Showboat, in Post # 8825676 and 77.
P. x evansii is good for now (for the large sized Philodendron shown above in post 81 & 82).
The plants in the photo below were bought at the USF Botanical Garden plant shop. All are the 'small vine' type. Only two had a ID tag - lower left in the photo was labeled P. Green Emerald (incorrectly labeled) and the lower right side P. ilsemanii http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/95713/
I am not really too concerned at getting names at this point, they are still too young and generic looking. This post is for enterainment purposes...
