Sorry you can't make it Carla, maybe another time.

What plant is that?

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

It is a dwarf everblooming Texas sage, that really outdid itself this week, I have never seen it so beautiful, it is growing at the Fielder house garden.

Arlington, TX

Does it really bloom most of the summer?

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

No, the name everblooming is misleading, actually it only blooms when it feels like it, it has only bloomed twice this summer, but wow! when it does it is amazing.
Also the flowers last only five or six days.

Josephine:
Is there a plant list of what will be available? I know you have the link for the plants at the garden, but is there a comprehensive list of what will be for sale? I'm going to try to make it over.

Hello Dale, I hope you can make it, the second link on my post up top is the pictures of the plants on sale with descriptions.
Let me know if it works for you.
Josephine.

Red Oak, TX

Josephine:

Yes, the link worked. ARe there other plants as well, or is that the entire list. I know...I sound greedy. Just wondering....I'm particularly looking for some Little Bluestem, and of course, always on the lookout for other native plants. I'm going to try to make it.

Getting dressed to go to the plant sale!!!WooHoo!

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Steph, I an sorry the Texas sage was already gone when you got there, I will be sure to save you one next year.
We had a crowd there before 9 so a lot of things went very fast.
Did you end up getting anything else?

Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)

That's ok. I missed out on the flame acanthus too :( I don't know why, but I was surprised at the size of the crowd that was there. I did get a few things though. I got a yellow columbine, obedient plant, blackfoot daisy, and a heart leaf skullcap. Great buys and super healthy plants. Thanks for the heads up on the sale.

Hugs,
Steph

That is great, I think you made some very good choices.
Josephine.

Red Oak, TX

Oh, I forgot to get a skullcap! Beautiful plants and it looked like you guys were doing a brisk business. Thanks for the notice about it, Josephine, otherwise I would have missed it completely.

Lep, I have that plant coming up all over my shady bed. They went dormant and now are popping up all over. If I see you at the fall or spring RU I would be happy to bring you some if you remind me. Spring might be better but I think I can find a plant for this fall if you like.

I wanted to attend but had serious family business to attend to. One plant I wanted was Damantia.

Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)

I also wanted to get some frogfruit and forgot :(

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you all, we had a great day and a very profitable sale, thanks to all the good generous people.
