I have a huge red plumeria I got about a year ago. The plant looks good, leave are healthy, but no blooms. I'm certain it has to do with feedings. What is best for blooms? And should I give up for the year? I am near Houston, so we won't have any true cold for possibly 2 months.l
no blooms at all this year
I wouldn't feed this late in the year. Mine were very late this year due to our cool spring and summer, and a couple didn't bloom at all. They are all fed with a time relaese fert.
I use dynamite it lasts a year time release so everytime it gets water its getting some
That's what I used too.
Once a year you can not beat it they do not want that bloom pusher either that actually does more harm than good.
what is that bloom pusher?
super high # the middle theres 3 # like 10-10-10 but this would be like 10-45-10
that's what i thought...i appreciate the corrected steering of my thinking..but i don't like using synthetics either..so i will have to remember to feed more often.
can you tell us about your plumie? plumies do not always bloom like we'd like. sometimes it is just the plant. sometimes it is us. : ) many ppl do not feed their plumies and they bloom happily. that's why i ask you to tell us about it. in a pot? in the ground? lots of sun? etc...
