Over Wintering a Passiflora

Agawam, MA(Zone 6a)

I live in zone 6 & have always brought my passiflora in for the winter & treated as a house plant. Is there any way that I can over winter it as I do my cannas & just store it in the basement & bring it out in the spring. I thank you in advance for any advice you can give me.
Thanks
Debbie

What kind is it? I live in zone 6A and leave my incarnata outside all year.

The name of the Passiflora is 'Blue Bahama'. The plant tag said hardy zones. 8-11. That was why I was looking on how to over winter it. Any help would be appreaciated.

My ones that aren't hardy I keep in my garage. It stays around 40 in there through the winter. I water occasionally. Most of them do alright in there. I keep them where they can get some light through the windows.

roxxanne, Thanks so much for your information. I'll try that.

You should probably take cuttings before winter. I just finally had success with this this summer.
