Just got my first bloom on Angels Summertime opened.(This plant is in my conservatory)
The UK is being lashed with Atlantic storms at the moment and I don't think I have 1 bloom left on all my plants:-)

We have to have a permit to import cuttings from other countries. The permits are free from the USDA, but the 2 year quarantine could end up costing you quite a bit (Several hundred dollars) since an inspector has to look at the plants several times a year and you have to pay his costs. Also you have to keep the plants well away from any other Brugs you may have. If you don't have an inspector who is familiar with Brugmansias, you could have a lot of problems passing inspections. A friend of mine had an inspector visit right after a light frost had charred the leaves of one of her imported Brugs that she had to leave outside. He made her cut up and throw away the entire plant because he thought it was diseased and wouldn't take her word for it.
This is one reason why newly introduced European Brugs to the American market are always several years behind the European introduction. It is also the reason, importers ask higher prices for the rooted cuttings they offer for sale — to try to recoup some of the cost of importing them.
