Okay - I am new to Epiphylium....
But received a few in a Plant Swap. This one was doing very beautifully.... but now I'm very worried about it.... do you see the 'dead' looking area at the base? It's turning brown.
Water has been an issue.. it could be over - watered or not watered enough.... any clues ? Thank you in advance for any help advice you can provide.....

HELP!
Mary, are you using a type of fast drainage medium (soil) such as cactus mix for your epi? Only you can tell if it's over/under water? Which? lol. Look to me as if it's being over exposed to sunlight. Most of mine are under shade, and they do better that way.
Thank you Lily -
I think when I potted... I was learning Perlite...but yet to learn vermiculite... might be Miracle Gro potting soil with compost and some Perlite....(I've been trying 3 scoops MG, with 3 scoops compost to 1 scoop perlite)
But I'm thinking the over exposed to sunlight might be the key.
I will definitely move it tomorrow. The one in the back is starting to grow and it's in more dappled sunlight.....
Thank you for your help!
