I know a lovely lady, who is a Master Gardener, and unfortunately had a stroke. She has some balance problems and reduced vision on the L. I wanted her to try the kneeler stool to see if it is high enough and stable enough for her. Does anyone know where to get one locally or borrow one?
Thanks! Any info or other recommendations are appreciated.

recommendations for kneeler stools
Love my kneelers since back surgeries. It is the one that will turn upside down and become a seat. Also folds up for storage. Got mine at Home Depot. This is my favorite thing to use when weeding or planting. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202494197/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053
Do not buy the garden rocker, almost hurt myself on that one!!

Thanks Sheila..that is the one I was thinking about. Good to know it can be found easily. Do you find it steady in the garden?
I use one and love it.. great for getting up and down ... I couldnt garden with out it
Very sturdy for getting up and down, great support tool. As a seat, probably not as much, but if you are on a solid walkway then it would be fine. It has to be munipulated to close, so it wouldn't fold up accidentally at all. I bought two of them so I have one for the front beds I keep in the garage. I even used it when painting the deck railings recently.
Thanks for the details.I guess you use it with the kneeler"seat" part on the ground.
Most of the time, yes. But when I just need to take a break I will flip it and rest; but being aware it may tilt if not level. It takes the place of the knee pads for me, with the added "help to get up".
Good info. I was thinking it might be too unstable to sit on, but making it easy to get up is a big ++++++++++++++
