Wishing you all well and fond fairwell

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

I would like to Thank everyone on the Texas Forum for being so kind and caring
Many of you I have met in person since moving here in 07 and you made my transition to Texas so much easier
My flower garden even with this drought reminds me daily of the wonderful friends I have meet while a member of Dave's Garden in Texas.
As of Aug 18th my membership will end and at this time I can not afford to continue it due to situations with the job market.
Please do not feel this is a cry for help as it is not
I have to make choices and the bills have to come first ..... as much as I have enjoyed being a member and meeting those that attend the East Texas RU's and all the great folks I met the first year here at the Ru's in the Dallas area it has come time to step away from the site for the time being.

Everyone stay cool and take care of yourselves.

thank you again for allowing me to be a part of this gardening family.

And so glad to hear there is an angel out there. If I could, I would have just because of all the effort you have put into the RUs which I hope you will continue to do so perhaps I can meet you someday.

DG would be a quieter place without you. Glad you are a part of it!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

At first read I was sad....now I am glad you will still be on DG Phyllis, we would miss you. Thank you to that secret angel.
I pray that the job situation that you have been struggling with will improve.

I really hope you don't have it deleted. It makes me feel good, that you are able to stay AND that somebody else made it possible. Pay it forward!

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

I think this is a wonderful thread.....don't delete it.

It made me feel good. I love it!

Isn't it wonderful that Angels pop up just when we need them.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes it is indeed!!!

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

Yup, hope this thread survives. It makes me realize they there *are* really good people out there! Glad you're still with us, Phyllis, and many thanks to whoever did the good deed.

One of the things I have learned about people and their willingness to come forward and help, is that, many times, people in need of help do not say so. If we are intended to be there for each other, we've got to know what the needs are, so those who have the loving, giving, caring, "I'm on it!" attitudes, can do their jobs!

Thank you for having the courage to say so...and to the angel who did their job well, today!

Hugs!

Amen to all the sweet comments above. Phyllis holds a special place in my heart.

Yes I agree it does a heart good when someone does something unexpected like this.
I did not plan on this and was not meaning for it to sound like I wanted anyone to do it as I know things are hard all over for everyone and with the drought it's going to get tougher when it comes to buying beef.

but as for the Angel yes it is a true blessing and I will find out who it was someday and they will get a proper Thank You from me as the thought of leaving made it hard to type and then the Angel made it even harder with tears of joy.

As I said before moving here was one of the bet things we ever did the feeling welcome and belonging I've received from this extended family is far beyond anything I have felt from the people I have meet in the area where I live and work.
I just wish we all lived closer!!

My only chances of seeing anyone is either when I go to Dallas to pick up exchange students for the beginning of their stay, but that is in Addison or when I go to visit my daughter in Humble and hat is few and far between.

As for the Ru's I guess you are stuck with me setting up for the East Texas ones..not sure what we will do other then visit and eat for a fall one with the way the weather has been LOL

Sheila as for job stuff...I've been puttin in apps since March with no luck for full time so far.
School starts Monday so that will hopefully help but I would Love a work form home job as that would really help not having to worry about gas to get to and from ....*dreaming*

I'm glad to see this has renewed faith and brought a smile to your face and it sure has for me too.

You made it very clear in your post that you were not looking for expecting this but somebody else thoughy you deserved it and we all be better off because of it. : )

. Angels are marvelous beings arent they.???. your angel knows what this place meant to you and knows you appreciate what it did

. I have a saying that I keep by my bed and it says after youve done everything you possible can to make things work and have exhausted all your possible means the world will provide and Ive found it to be oh so true

Im so glad youll be here for another year.
