Tropical Climber - ID request

Upper Swan, FM(Zone 10a)

Hi,
Does anyone know this plant? It is growing in the Orchid and Hibiscus Garden in Kuala Lumpur, As each flower develops a bean type pod, I presume it belongs to the bean/pea family. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to identify it.

Thanks! I think you are correct:)
Now where to find someone selling it in Western Australia, as it really is spectacular.

The site I linked to offers it for sale sometimes, but I have no idea if they'd ship to Australia or not. Most likely not, but it wouldn't hurt to check.

woofess, seed of bauhinia is very viable, and for many years. I have them germinate when over 5 years old,
with no problems. You could easily get seed to come up, and it might be better source for you if having
to ship it to you from over here. (If ecrane's link does not ship there, as they mentioned could be a possibility)
edit: I forgot to say, bauhinia is also a very fast grower, so if you feed it right, you'll have results in just a few years.

That is Bauhinia kockiana. Looks alot like B bidentata but has much larger flower heads and a very diffferent leaf for Bauhinia.

Thanks folks:)
Due to being busy at work, I missed your replies and have just found them all. Thanks for the info on seeds, as I might be able to get the seeds in through Quarantine.
Our Quarantine dudes are very strict as to what can come in to Western Australia and I think I am already on their hit list as they open every parcel sent to me, even when it does not contain vegetable matter such as seeds!!! Last time it was a camera part. Now I ask you.... how on earth can a camera part be a potential vegetable or animal pest?;)
regards
W:)
