Well here in England we are still having mild weather, so the garden is still going great guns especially my roses, so hope we dont get a frost yet, we had mild weather until the end of December last year and then bang wam we got a bad frost and we did have a colder winter than what we have had for many a year.
So nice to hear how you all spend your time,i would be no good at the farming life as i am a vegetarian, but Grandad grew a lot of his own food and had chickens in his backyard, caused by the hard times he had in the 30s and WW2, so he carried on until late in life. He was a coal-miner and i am sure you know how hard and poor life was for coal miners in every country.Still is but health and safety is now very important, in Britain the working classes were either cannon fodder or worked for peanuts.
