Well, did it work?

Arlington, TX

NO but I am still hopeful...

So sorry to hear that. It rained just west of here then stopped just like last night. So we got the humidity but not the rain. It does wonders for my hair. My ex husband used to say that the best way to predict the weather was for me to stick my head out the window. : ). That was one of the few times he was actually funny.

It is raining here right now, not a lot, but thank God!! it feels so good!!

I'd forgotten how glorious it was to be hanging around in the garden in the rain, wearing nothing but jammies.
I know this won't last, but still, praise the Lord!

Amen!! Brandon!!

How much drizzle did we get, it is so cool outside!

I didn't have a rain gauge up here, but in a bowl I feed bluejays was almost a half inch. It started at 5:30am this morning and is still sprinkling out there. I am so glad it is slow rain, no damaging winds and run off. The plants are getting every drop!

Brandon..... I went out and walked around in my robe with my morning coffee.....so nice to feel rain again!

Praise God! It's still drizzling here and the ground is still soaking it up. Everything is clean and perky and green. Thank you, Jesus!

Beautiful, beautiful! :)

A good soaking drizzle but I am starting to see the sun here so it won't last much longer.

I am sure it won't last but boy was it nice this morning. I was walking around this morning and the birds were chirping and I though....How many little birds may have experienced rain for the first time this morning. I have been seeing robins 6 or 8 every morning in my yard since I am one of the few around that are watering. Hopefully they have gotten some of the grasshoppers that started up recently.

Nothing here but humidity. Ohhhh my hair!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Lisa....Praying for the cell to your north to hold together long enough to bring you rain. It is west of Waco now and north of Austin.

Liberty Hill, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you I didn't realize there was any that close. So far no rain.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Go wash your car and leave the windows down....hang some laundry out to dry...LOL!

Leave feed bags and hay in the back of my truck. That has brought rain when there wasn't even a chance unfortunately my critters were hungry.

Well I was in E. TX Friday and most of today but while driving back I saw as I approached McKinney flooded side roads. Woo hoo! It rained when I was out of town. We got 1.58 inches here in Frisco and it about drowned all my newly transplanted Cacti.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Wow that was a good rain Brandon! We only ended up with 3/4" but was so nice. Of course that sun is heating things up as I type...100 plus on the way today.

Liberty Hill, TX(Zone 8a)

The official rain amount in LH is NONE. Yes, its going to be hot again.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

So sorry Lisa....hope you get some soon.

Liberty Hill, TX(Zone 8a)

Ok it did rain in LH not at my place but in town. We were eating dinner and it poured I could hear it on the roof. I wish it rained here but it has cooled things off and at least I still remember what rain looks like.

Alba, TX(Zone 8a)

Got a fairly good drizzle out at our place Sat morning. Will need more but am happy to have had SOME!
