CLOSED: Female house finch?

The finches and sparrows throw me for a loop - seem almost interchangable to me :( So, do I have this one right?

You are correct. :)

A couple things to remember is the female house sparrow will have a pale line that goes from its eyes and the lower bill is yellowish. Female house finch has no eye line and both upper and lower bills are grayish. Those are the markings I used to tell the difference.
