This guy took a small bird out of a tree right in front of me and almost landed in the pond. It landed on the bank at my feet, not more than 6-8 feet away from me. We were both stunned! I got this one shot... full frame, before it flew off. Pretty cool experience, but have no idea what hawk it was. Did not see the tail feathers.
I would think Coopers Hawk.
