Does anyone know the NPK values of coffee grounds? I added some around my peppers and they grew taller than usual and the fruit was sparser than normal. Similar to what I would expect from excess Nitrogen.

Coffee grounds
I had this info stored on my pc..........Coffee grounds approx. N 2.08 P 0.32 K 0.28.... much higher in nitrogen as you suspected, :-)
I had read somewhere that lettuce is one of the few vegetables that "likes" non-composted coffee grounds. The high N wouldn't be a problem for a leafy crop.
Thanks, all. I would probably use it on chard and collards I plan to grow next year if the weather cooperates.
