Hope you have a great day!!!
Happy Birthday Pirl!!
Thank you, Allison, Celeste and WC.
We celebrated my granddaughter's 20th birthday yesterday and we will celebrate my 70th today. We went to dinner and saw the play, Spamalot. It was great fun.
Tonight my daugher and her husband will be taking us out to dinner and then it will be more celebration and more of her wonderfully unique cupcakes at their home.
Thanks, Victor! That's another beautiful photo.
Megan decided to save my daughter the cost of college for a year and doubled up on all of her courses so she's a senior now and will graduate in May. What a great kid she is!
Wow - congrats to her!
Yes, Victor. She is very special.
Thanks, Marilyn. What a beauty that rose is.
What a delightful surprise to have my dear friend, Zuzu, posting to wish me a happy birthday. Thank you, so much, Zuzu.
I love that Vienetta. Mine is sound asleep in the compost pile.
very pretty Zuzu.. nice to see you!
Thanks, Eleanor, JD, Christina, Joy and Jen.
All the flowers are beautiful and that does look like the Portmeirion rose, Joy!
Beautiful hydrangea, Eleanor. The blossoms last so long!
JD - I feel as lazy now, after all the two days of celebrations, as your cats appear to be. I better be your favorite!
Love that Pretty Much Picasso, Christina!
Very colorful, Jen. Love that contrast.
Thanks to all for the birthday wishes. It has been a very good day. Charlie, my five year old grandson, even helped me blow out the candle!
A very special thank you for the phone call from Pakistan from my long time DG friend, Kaleem. You are so thoughtful to always remember my day.
Thanks, Jo Ann and Ronnie. Lovely flowers!
Pirl It looks like a Port Meirion Rose because it is one...A David Austin from Halifax Seed Company. I ordered it one year and they were out of it but the next year they contacted me when it came in.Of course I bought it. David Austin Roses aren;t usually hardy here but I planted it with the graft 4" or 5" down and it has come back every year so far.JOY
Aha! How wonderful to have the real rose in your own garden and in your own home. It's beautiful.
Hello dear
I can guess , how was that day which was started with my phone call but you can't guess our happiness , Samina loved your voice and your way of talking. That was a great day for us also. My pc was broken and I was unable to access Internet . At the moment we are in my mothers house. You , Megan and Charlie are looking great. God bless you and such lovely days come in your life daily.
Thank so much for being my friend.
Kaleem
Pirlene,
Happy belated bday :-)
I hope you got what ever you wanted for your bday, plus extra!!!
~Thom
Wow...send him here when you're done, Pirl!
You're kidding, right? I'll teach him to cook and clean and...mulch - that's it, mulch.
Sorry I missed your Birthday - hope it was filled with blooms!
What a fun mug!
What a fun person who sent it! My life would not be as happy or as much fun without JD. His education, knowledge and experience is phenomenal and his help, from afar, is always appreciated. He is with me in the garden more than he could know. The garden gate, in the background of this photo, incorporates a cast iron piece Mike sent.
just saw this thread Pirl - hope your b-day was a good one!!
nice JM in front of the gate - which one? koto-no-ito?
The gate is just beautiful.....
i looked up your tree pirl and it sounds like a really nice hardy one - good choice!
Nice to hear that from you, Bill, since you're the pro with JM's. Thanks for telling me.
I did buy it locally from a nursery guy we've known for a very long time and whom I trust.
