Any recommendations on what to use on boosting some fading plants with a bit more fertilizer. I grow organic and used the requisite amount when I set up my boxes this spring. The tomatoes and related plants look fine but the box with beans and cucumbers looks like it needs nitrogen. I put some fish emulsion in the watering tube last week, but would like other ideas.
Thanks.
EB fertilization
I'm no guru on this -- have more questions than answers. But I'm a fan of the fish emulsion. Also, just beware of granular fert in tight places for fear of burning roots. And, I *think* I have learned to not give too much nitrogen to beans or they stay busy producing leaves and forget to make beans. Maybe someone more knowledgeable will weigh in.
