I finally got one to call my own. It is a hot hot hot pink with white veining. The eye is a slightly darker pink and the rim has a hint of peach to it. As it is the first bloom on an 8" seedling started in the fall, who knows what will become of it. For now I am calling it Griffin because it decided to bloom for me on the day I finally changed my name to my married name (one year later).... procrastinator!
The parents are Belle du Jour x Saffron. It is a 6" bloom with good form, although one petal was deformed as it was curled in (though that could have been where I peeked in at it before it opened ;~)

My very first seedling!
Kristen,
Congratulations on that fine seedling. Love that Hot Pink. The pink is hotter than Belle Du Jour, but I am surprised that the Orange or white of the Saffron is not there. Perhaps, the Orange added to the heat of the pink... :)
Thanks for sharing.
Wow Patrick! That is some bush you have there! Hopefully it will bloom for you soon! The waiting must be eating away at you! Majia, I am thinking the peachish rim and the white veining is maybe Saffron showing. The pink is so super hot. It is definitely exciting!
Congrats Bulpit. You are definitely a hi-biss-currr!!
