CoCo...We're Getting a STOVE

Hey, CoCo -

Remember how I said the top element in our oven was out, and how we only had one burner working? Well, the last surviving burner became unreliable and finally started making a fzzzzzt sound last week and I just unplugged it!

We're getting a white-on-white GE Spectra JBP30 with a 5 cubic foot oven with digital controls; it can be programmed to start at a given time and has automatic shut-off. We decided to get one with coils instead of a smoothtop because we like using our wok and we got more features for the money that way.

Our local H.H. Gregg store is having a special sale on Wednesday only - we will save $60 off their price, which is already $50 below the list and the cheapest in our delivery area. For $50, they'll not only deliver and set up the new stove with a new cord, but also haul away the old stove and an old derelict dryer we've had taking up space in our garage. Can't beat that! :O)

Can you tell I'm excited? I may actually start COOKING again -- motivation kinda waned when we had a lousy oven and only one working burner, you know? I hope they can deliver it soooon! I will be able to make COOKIES again!
