CLOSED: Cooper's or Sharp-shinned?

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

I'm not going to guess because I always pick the wrong one.

I will guess Cooper's. I read a comparison site and it said that a Cooper's head will be more predominant in flight because the Sharp-shinned will have its wings pushed forward and you may not see much of its head. It's just my guess. I am sure others will know for sure.

Here's the site if you wish to peek at it. It explained wing-beats which you would have seen.

Those are beautiful flight pictures! I've only got good ones of our Cooper's when it was on the ground feeding about 15 feet from the house.

Ditto to Cooper's - heavy bill, outer tail feathers slightly shorter than the rest
