My "best guess" is that this is a juvenile Cooper's Hawk but I could be SO wrong. This is in So. Carolina.
Any assist with the I.D. would be very much appreciated!

CLOSED: Cooper's Hawk?
I'd go for juvenile Red-shouldered Hawk - note the numerous narrow bars on the tail, and the finely barred (not streaked) 'trousers'.

Ah, well, that would make sense, Resin, since we have lots and lots or RS Hawks. I thought I'd spotted a new one for my list! Darn~ but thanks. :)
