Anyone out there have zoysia? I want something that is drought resistent. I currently have a mix of bermuda and weeds. I'm trying to cut down on our lawn but my husband still wants some grass. I'm thinking if I can have some small swaths of really good grass, I can fill in the rest with flowers and shrubs

You are in a good area for the prairie grasses, don't know about Zoysia-it seems to be a personal preference. I like what my daughter did under her dogwood, little slow growing different liriope. Don't know if you can see the different types, and this is NOT this year
