I was wondering if anyone knew what this type of insect was at all? I have seen around 3 of these in the past few weeks in my living room (the one yesterday flew!) I don't think they are much of a problem but I thought I would enquire to find out what it is and how to prevent them to avoid an infestation. I thought they might be caret beetles so I have looked around every dark place in my house and found no sign of of any hiding anywhere.
They are blacky brown in colour and are plain (no spots or patters on the wings).
