Is this a house wren?

Clifton, NJ

It looks like its about 4-5 inches in the pictures but its not its about 3 inches. I have some more pictures in the forums page. Thanks

I looked at the other wrens and most have more distinct lines by the eyes. The only one that looked close to a House Wren was a Sedge Wren, but they prefer marshes. so I would say you are correct.

I hope you don't mind my less than absolute answer, but I am trying to learn to ID birds better. :) We've had a House Wren singing quite a bit this last week.

Thanks all, I wasn't sure it was a house wren because these two are so small. I looked at other pictures of wrens they seem to have a longer tail.
