We just moved into a new home two months ago and our newly planted cleyera, dwarf burfords, nellie r, knockouts, dwarf indian hawthorne, and natchez crepe myrtles took a beating. Knock outs will be okay I'm pretty certain...but the cleyera, and burfords are almost sticks, the indian hawthorne misshapen, and the crepe myrtle bark has chunks taken out of it. Any of these in danger of never coming back as good as they were? Thanks for listening :(
Hail damage to new garden
I am sorry you had such a damaging storm, it seems we have had many of those lately.
I think that it will take them a while, but with a little care and careful pruning of broken branches they will came back, plants can be very resilient.
Josephine.
Thanks Josephine
