My Foxgrove Wood fuchsia that I got from Pedrick's Corner finally bloomed! I mixed up the labels so I wasn't sure which one it was, but now I know.
I've overwintered them inside, fought aphids and whiteflies, transplanted them into bigger pots, and am so pleased how healthy and big it is. Will post picture soon!

I CAN'T WAIT!! I have to live vicariously through other fuchsia growers for now! Mine are all brown sticks except one in a hanging basket, struggling to get through the heat. I'm not pulling up anything yet--I'll wait until around Dec. to give them lots of time to tell me if they are dead or alive. I've had several very dead looking plants come back, so I don't act too fast anymore.
