I love seeing the single blooms from all of the different brug plants, but would also like to see what the WHOLE plant looks like in bloom. I'm putting this picture of mine on here just because it is one of my favorites. Can't wait to get some of the trades up and blooming next summer.
Thanks.....Shirley

Good question Owen... I was wondering too. I have versi peach ... I hope it'll look like that one someday!
No, not the same. down here we call it Gator orange Versi....i guess ms brugie got it from someone who called it LSU.....
Arlene,
Yes, it was called LSU (Louisianna State Univ.) by the person who gave it to me, but I sent a picture to Earl at Valley Grow and he said it was Versicolor Orange. How did this thread get back up here. Man, this was started a long time ago. I sure hope that plant grows the same way next year because I really liked the size and shape of it.
Shirley,
I had on of the LSU or ULS or what ever it is called but mine had a flower that looked like the Insignis Pink....it didn't bloom an awful lot so I got rid of it.
Gloria,
I'm just going to stick with Earls ID of Versicolor Orange. Suits me okay. Isn't that Pink Beauty something to look at. Hope you have really good luck with it. I'm still waiting to hear from BW.
Brugie, that brug { versicolor orange} is just beautiful. The shape is about perfect.
Thanks Roz, I just hope it will perform the same way again next year. I used it as a deck pot since it didn't get so tall and I could handle the pot okay without breaking branches. If you had seen the little guy when I first got him from my friend, you would have thought there was no way he would turn out so nice. I sure didn't hold out much hope of it, but I was surprised so now I don't give up on any of them.

Cala,
If I sent you one called versicolor apricot, it isn't. It would be what we all named Shirley's Peach. I hope I sent you the Versicolor Orange because it is much prettier.
I looked today, you did send me the versicolor orange. I hope it blooms soon. It is about 18 inches tall and very healthy.
The orange brug is absolutely beautiful and the blooms are such an elegant looking color. I hope that I will have something that I can trade you for a cutting. I am a new (just signed up today) and I have much to learn.
Hi, Fkeonitz, and WELCOME. This is probably the nicest place in the world and the nicest people. I haven't been long myself and boy, have I learned a lot.
So tiny to have so many blooms - a real beauty.
Thanks everyone for the compliments on my Versicolor Orange. I'll have cuttings again next fall.
Great, cause I really NEEED this one, lol!
Thanks Roz for making me feel welcomed. I have been looking at this site for over 2 hours and I just can't seem to be able to leave it. There are so many interesting items.
welcome to the club Frannie, I never get anything done for Dave's!! LOL. Fortunately I don't have little kids.
Hi there Fkeonitz - you really are a brand new member - you'll love it!!
fKeonitz,
Welcome to the world of Brugmansias.....no matter what you have heard about us we a very nice people. lol
Hi Frannie,
I do my brug cuttings in the early fall. It is so cold here that nothing even starts growing until May. I'm sure there will be plenty of cutting material unless Mother Nature has a cramp.
Shirley
