Clearance finds :)

It's getting hot enough already that there are many places putting plants on clearance early. WooHoo!!!
I want to see what goodies y'all are finding out there.

Today I went around to some local places. Lowe's in Cleburne has some good stuff right now. Some perennials in 4" pots for 75 cents. I got 4 'Snow Hill' Salvia and 4 Southern Wood Ferns. I also scored a 'PowWow Wild Berry' Echinecea for a quarter. Yes that was 25 cents!! And it's not half dead!! I also found a 5 gal pot of Variegated Cast Iron plant, full and gorgeous, for $15.

How cool, I've never seen a variegated cast iron plant, get a pic when you can. Love the snow hill and wood fern too! Nice score!

Some good online clearances, too. Just bought a couple of elephant ears from Plant Delights. I've always wanted to grow some of those.....

Good to know that the cast iron is variegated. I need something for shade that is bright. I was at Loews earlier this week but didn't see those specials. Maybe the markdowns happen closer to the weekend. I did get the penstemon Husker's Red for $3.33
