That new menu block on the left of my screen is so annoying.. If I wanted to go to those links, I would.. putting them in my way and making my thread screen smaller is only aggravating.

Agree 100%. I do not like it at all.
Old habits die hard; I keep moving to the right. I guess the left side is more conventional, but I saw no reason to change.

I've also noticed that since the change, the site seems to work slower. Thought it was my computer first, but nothing else is slower, only DG

Now I know that someone has just decided to make things very annoying....

Here is what is going on. IB made a structural change. And have now received enough complaints that they will try to amend it to either turn off the left side column or make drop down menus. So maybe if we are patient for a bit, they will 'fix' it for those of us who get seasick trying to read the new pages. :-)

No!!...No!!...Noooo!! I hate "New & Improved", especially when nothing was wrong with an original.
I'll vote to put it back the way it was, but i doubt it will help. Someone has decided that this is "better". Seems there are people who love change, and those who hate it. Those who love it want to share it with others.

yeah I am not blind. My is still the original one, not the new one. Had me worried there for awhile as I couldn't believe I wasn't seeing what you all had and were upset set about
Nothing for me has changed, that I notice - I know you can adjust some format/settings - I think under your "tools" tab...dunno.
Thank you minnesippi for the link. I see there were many of us who were irritated with it. It invades my space, doesn't make things easier.. I come here to read threads, not "navigate" through the site.. I really hate it.
