I bought a few lots of seeds from Alan a few months ago. They did good, but some only had about a 60% germanation rate. I planted all of the new seedlings in my raised bed seedling area. Over the last week we have had three more seeds pop up after many weeks. The first to germanate are a foot tall and have many sets of leaves and now new seedlings on two of the crosses. I am glad I put the soil from the origanal pots in with them.
Don't give up on brug seeds

I would be happy with anything. I have gotten three interesting blooms from Mikes Rosa Lila x sang x mobishu, and have high hopes for more. Last years plants are big and beautiful so I am looking for blooms.
congratulations with Alans seeds... you did real well... and more sproutng..
I always save my dirt from the non sprouting pots to a large saucer for maybe a year.. they are divided by type.. with hopes of some sprouting much later..
I had a seed pod last fall... that went missing about the time it was to be moved inside to develop...
now out of the varaigated winter jasmine.. a brug... sure wish I could remember which plant it had been on.. as I wrote if off compleatly.. last fall...
